                                  kathak is one of the eight major classical dance forms of India , originating 

from Uttar Pradesh . This captivating dance style is known for its dynamic movements , intricate

footwork , and expressive storytelling . It was traditionally performed by bards in temples, later

evolving in royal courts to balance technical speed with expressive emotions.


                                              Kathak's unique blend of Hindu and Muslim influences reflects India's rich

cultural heritage . Dancers use facial expressions and subtle gestures to narrate stories, often focusing on

 themes of love and devotion. Dancers wear stunning costumes, jewelry and ghunguroo





                                        This dance performed to traditional Indian music with Tabla and sitar creating

an enchanting atmosphere . In Sri Lanka this beautiful dance is admired for it's cultural significance

and influence on local dance traditions.

Beautiful country that I visit 💖🥰

                     In 2016 , I visited Dubai. It is a city in the United Arab Emirates that seamlessly blends  tradition with modernity. Burj Khalifa is one of the most memorable place in this trip. It is the world's tallest building. The view from 124th flow was mind blowing. For shoppers Dubai Mall is a paradise  with over 1200 stores and entertainment options. 😎                                        Two unique attractions worth visiting are the Global  village and the Miracle Garden. Global village is a place with food , shops and shows from over 90 countries. there is also Sri Lankan  shops. The Miracle garden is a beautiful garden with over 150  million flowers arranged in crazy shapes like hearts and emirates  plane. It was like walking into a fairy tale. 🌸           ...
